There is no reason you shouldn't upgrade to this versions. Just make sure you have a backup of everything. If you do nothing else, do a export of your posts and comments. You do this by doing a export on the manage page. Click export and save it to your computer. It just that simple. With all the discussion about using the latest version of WordPress (2.6.3), my back room on my blog now tells me v. 2.6.5 is available. Is it too soon to download this.
